06:00 on my morning walk. It is now so light it will soon be sunrise. A few weeks ago I used to look up at the stars & planets.

16:05 out on bike earlier and saw work & demolition going on at Hygenic Laundry site. The bits of original stone name display have been saved.

15:14 camped above Kentallen after good ride of 40miles. Great view across Loch Linnhe.

18:10 the sun has just gone down behind the mountains & the temperature is dropping rapidly.

10:45 overnigt rain stopped at 08:30. Caught 08:45 ferry off Iona. It went dark around 08:30 but didn't see sun or eclipse.

15:00 cycled across Mull. Now waiting at Fishnish for the ferry. Had large chip butty while waiting.
17:25 ferry to Lochaline where I'm camped near harbour & ferry terminal.

06:25 now camped on the isle of Iona. The morning is dull & overcast.

18:28 short bike ride across island late morning. Work going on to replace part of ferry slipway. Rain for most of afternoon & raining now.
They are repairing Iona ferry slipway but can only work at low water. Expect machines to start soon & into the night as the tide drops.

14:00 in Clayton-le-Woods ar Masonic Hall to give presentation. Their ceiling projector & screen look great but projecctor didn't work properly with my laptop.

19:45 at Chorley Photographic Society. First part was great presentation by John Cobham as his landscapes that he's had published. Mainly Lancashire Magazine.
Main presentation of evening was Christine Widdall with a selection of her excellent prints.

16:10 jusy finished excellent walk through paths of Withnell Fold, Brindle & Whittle. Now in Sports Club having tea & cakes.

Afternoon visit to Astley Hall, Chorley to view the investigation works they're doing.

19:15 At Chester Photographic Society to do my 'Three Centuries of Photography' gig. My last time here was 2002 so I don't think I made much of an impression then.

18:45 on bus on way to Photo Society in Chorley.

20:55 now interval time at Richard Herring gig, Chorley Little Theatre. Only one person has walked out. Didn't like his sensible comments about hymns.
